Syracuse Hip-Hop On The Fringe

Published a story covering the hip-hop scene in upstate New York. While it can be difficult for artists to be discovered, groups like Last Hope Entertainment are working hard to build something on the ground they stand on. Many artists flock to larger markets to chase their major label dreams, so it’s refreshing to see artists collaborating for a grassroots movement. Progress is a slow process, but longevity is the true reward.


Syracuse University Human Rights Film Festival

Published an article on the Newhouse School website about “The Man Who Saw Too Much,” an independent Mexican film about crime photographer Enrique Metinides, who has gained a cult following in his 50 year career. The screening came as part of the 14th annual Syracuse University Human Rights Film Festival, which is organized by multiple schools throughout the university.
